Offered for sale is a gorgeous, very original, all numbers matching, rust free, lifelong California 1965 Porsche 356C coupe, finished in its original Signal Red (6407) over Black interior. This two owner Southern California classic was previously owned by a PCA member who absolutely cherished the car as his most prized possession. This is a very original and correct 356 coupe that deserves your consideration.
The exterior of the car is wonderful. The paint is deep and lustrous, and blemish free with the exception of the most insignificant of imperfections (very few and extremely minor rock chips) that are far to small to show up in the photographs and do not detract from the cars appearance in any way. The chrome is in excellent original condition. The glass and rubber is in very nice shape. As shown in the photos, the gaps are all correct and everything lines up as it should. The interior of the car is superb. The front and rear seats are in fantastic condition, showing no rips, tears, or discoloration of any kind. The original square weave carpet is in excellent condition. The door panels are excellent. The headliner looks like new. The car has its original radio. When an owner loves his car and takes pride in his beautiful Porsche it shows and this car is no exception. It is truly a beautiful car.
The car is very solid mechanically. The engines compression is excellent. The car pulls strongly through each of its four gears. The suspension is very tight and solid. The car does not smoke or leak oil. We are happy to take the car in for inspection to any shop in the Santa Barbara area. We have many good and knowledgeable Porsche mechanics in our area who can give a second opinion on the car’s mechanical and cosmetic condition.
We hope that this car can go to an owner who will appreciate it and look after it the way its previous two so diligently did. The Southern California climate has been very kind to this Porsche over the years.
