    Description

Offered for sale is a rare European, 4 speed manual 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL Pagoda finished in Papyrus White over a navy interior. The 250SL was a vast improvement to its 230SL predecessor and certainly the rarest of the Pagodas, making up less than 11% of the W113 production run. With the 250SL becoming exceedingly more difficult to find, especially optioned with the rarer 4 speed manual gearbox, it is sure to become even more popular amongst the collector community.

The exterior of the car is very nice. The body is straight and solid, the chrome is very presentable and the original spot welds are present inside each fender indicating originality. The navy soft top is in good shape and the plastic window is clear. You can’t help but get the regular thumbs up and waves from enthusiastic onlookers every time you take the car out on a drive. The interior is beautiful. The seats and door panels are excellent. The square weave carpets have held up very nicely. The wood looks great and the original Becker Europa radio is in great condition and functions perfectly.

This 250SL comes with a large file of service and maintenance records and documentation. The car drives well pulling strongly through each of its four gears without grinding. I am more than happy to assist in arranging a mechanical or professional inspection of the vehicle. This has been a wonderful roadster to collect and take on the occasional Sunday ride and I hope that it will find a home in an enthusiast’s garage.
