$32,000.00

Absolutely gorgeous, fully restored, numbers matching 1969 C-10 Stepside with a short bed and big window cab, finished in striking Light Green over a Black vinyl and Houndstooth cloth interior. An outlier to our typical inventory, but that should be an indication of just how nice this truck is.

    Description

Offered for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, fully restored 1969 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside Pickup Truck with a short bed and big window cab, finished in striking Light Green over a Black vinyl and Houndstooth cloth interior. Retaining its original, numbers matching 6 cylinder 250 engine, Petronix solid-state ignition and 3-speed, column shift transmission, the truck has power steering, power brakes and a two inch CPP lowering kit. This is a two owner example with what is believed to be only 48k original miles, it was originally sold and sparingly used in Texas for the vast majority of its life until being sold a few years back to the second owner in Colorado.

Following a long search for a completely original, rust-free and mechanically sound example, the second owner was thrilled to find this example and immediately began restoring it to a very high level, sparing no expense on every aspect of the truck. Completely repainted in the original Light Green (the original build sticker is still inside the glovebox door), the finish is deep and lustrous, marred only by the most minimal of chips accrued over a couple years of car shows and cruise nights. All of the panels are straight and the gaps and panel fits are excellent. The glass, chrome and rubber are all in excellent condition, as is the truck bed with its completely refinished wood and SS strips. Accented by trim rings and baby moon hubcaps, the flawless Rallye wheels are wrapped in hardly used narrow whitewall radials. The interior was entirely redone with new seats, door panels, carpet, rubber mats, dash pad and sunvisors, each of which is virtually flawless.

This is a truck with fantastic presence – not an outing goes by without pedestrians or other motorists asking questions or grinning and giving a “thumbs up”. And they’re not the only ones grinning, as the truck is abundantly drivable with an absolutely fantastic ride quality. The 3-Speed transmission shifts smoothly through each of the gears and the original 250 engine provides plenty of power, allowing for smooth daily and even freeway driving. Of all the cars that we sell (which are primarily vintage sports cars), there’s literally nothing else in our inventory that I’d rather drive on a weekend cruise. There are no mechanical issues to speak of – this truck is entirely turn-key and, coupled with its gorgeous cosmetics, it will undoubtedly provide its next owner years of enjoyment and no disappointments.
