    Description

Offered for sale is a stunning, very original, rust free, and correct California 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2L roadster. Finished in its factory red over black leather, the car has spent its life as an essentially one owner California roadster. Title was transferred once in the early 80’s when the owner decided to give his car to his Jaguar and British sports car enthusiast brother, a renowned architect in the Los Angeles area. As the pictures illustrate and the ad will describe, there are very few if any flaws at all to point out on this original, unmolested, and impeccable E-type roadster.

The interior and exterior are absolutely immaculate. The paint is in spectacular condition, free of any dings, scratches, ripples, runs, etc. The chrome and rubber is excellent. The wire wheels are perfect and the white wall tires are new. The soft top is a brand new factory replacement. All the glass is in great shape. The gaps and panel fits are perfect. The interior is perfect. The correct leather seats do not have a mark on them. The carpets are new and flawless. The dash is perfect. The door panels and all the interior chrome is impeccable. Like I said, this is a stunning car.

Mechanically there are no issues to point out. This matching numbers Jaguar has had the very best service and care since it left the showroom floor. You would be hard pressed to find a better running, smoother, and mechanically sound E-type roadster anywhere in the country. There are no leaks or noises. The engine has perfect compression and the transmission pulls strongly through each of its four gears. Garaged all its life, this car has not seen any weather and has been kept free of the elements. This month the Jag got a complete $2,500 service without a problem to report.

This is a very special car that shows the meticulous care and passion of its owners. Whether you’d like to parade this beautiful classic in the next Concourse De Elegance, or simply enjoy it with the top down on a quiet Sunday afternoon, this XKE will disappoint nobody and turn heads everywhere it goes.
