This is a two California owner, rust free, all numbers matching, fully documented, imported European example – one of the finest 280SLs currently available for sale. The previous owner spent a fortune returning it to the gorgeous shape it’s in now. The car comes complete with restoration photos, receipts, records and manual. This Pagoda will not disappoint.
The exterior is immaculate. The paint is exceptional and the body is perfectly straight. All the gaps are correct. This is an accident free car. As most enthusiasts can appreciate, the notches are present on each of the headlight pylons. The chrome is excellent. The soft top is perfect. The soft top frame was removed from the car during restoration and brought back to new condition. The car has all new rubber seals and gaskets. The interior is stunning.
