Offered for sale is a virtually brand new, 2018 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range with just 116 original miles and finished in Silver Metallic over Black. The car is optioned with the Long-Range Battery ($9,000) and Premium Upgrades package ($5,000) and was sold new by Tesla in Portland, OR. Upon taking delivery of the car earlier this year, the original owners had the car shipped here to Santa Barbara (where they also have a residence), drove it briefly, and summarily donated it to one of their favorite local non-profits, Planned Parenthood of California Central Coast, where one of the original owners sits on the Board of Directors.
We were enlisted by the non-profit to sell the car on consignment, and it is now titled in the organization’s name. For that reason, it should be noted that any sales price greater than $50k will be treated as a charitable donation and is therefore tax deductible. That being said, if you’re a supporter of their mission, a purchase at any price will go towards supporting Planned Parenthood of California Central Coast.
Because the car is in brand new, showroom condition, there’s very little to describe about its condition. There are absolutely no flaws, cosmetic or otherwise, and everything works exactly as it should. The car was transported from Oregon in an enclosed carrier and has always been garaged since, save for the brief road time it’s seen while the original owner drove it and while we photographed it. It’s only been washed twice since delivery and three of the distance-increasing Aero wheel covers have never been off, the driver side front cover only off once so we could take a picture to show the actual wheel below.
We’ve included scanned copies of the window sticker and original purchase agreement, but it should also be noted that the car comes with its factory 4-year/50,000 mile warranty and the Long-Range Battery is covered for 8-years/120,000 mile warranty with a minimum 70% retention of battery capacity.
